BUYERS NOTE: Though these denote 5% tolerance, with them being 40+ years old, these can measure up to 9% – 12 % higher than the indicated values. Remember, most circuits will operate just fine with +-15% tolerance.
Modern carbon film resistors will not create the great tonal qualities that a vintage carbon composition resistor will create. that’s the #1 reason these are so much in demand! Plus, the classic vintage style/look of these keeps your equipment looking original.
